75,000 manufacturing professionals on essential terminology, concepts,
and strategies related to demand management, procurement and supplier
planning, material requirements planning, capacity requirements
planning, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, performance
measurements, supplier relationships, quality control, and continuous
improvement. CSCPThe Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
program is a new industry educational and cerification program created
to meet the rapidly changing needs of the supply chain management field.
From the manufacturing to service industries, regardless of whether a
company is serving business or consumer markets or is for profit or
not-for-profit, the increasingly important role of supply chain

Chapter Calendar & EventsKeep up to date on Central MN APICS Chapter events and classesWe provide Operations and Supply Chain Management education classes and related events from September through May. See our Calendar for the current schedule and details. Professional Development MeetingsPDMs are held on the first Tuesday of the month from September through May. Local and national speakers are featured presenting topics of interest to today's operations and supply chain professionals. We schedule Plant Tours featuring leading companies in Central Minnesota in place of, or in conjunction with a speaker presentation. These tours offer the opportunity to learn by seeing how theory is put into practice and foster the sharing of best practices and professional networking. Have a Topic or Speaker idea for a PDM? Please email vpprograms@apciscmn.org. Seminars & WorkshopsTime too tight for extended Education classes? Attend a part or full day seminar to pickup knowledge on areas of interest to you and your company. Seminars & Workshops are held periodically on topics of Operations Management and Production and Inventory Control. Have an idea for a Seminar? Please email vpseminars@apciscmn.org In-House CoursesWe offer on-site training in a variety of formats. Your company pays one fee and class size can be as large as 30 students. Registration & PaymentAdvance registration is accepted online
via our Calendar. APICS Membership discounts are available for
most Chapter Events. In the future, we are planning to accept Major
