Experience:
5+ years analytical demand and/or inventory planning experience on a consumer products business selling through the retail channel.
Education:
Bachelors degree in operations, finance or related field preferred.

Duties: Responsibilities:
Demand Forecast Planning:
oExecute monthly / quarterly demand forecast process and model including gathering inputs, consolidate information across systems, data entry, and analysis.
oFacilitate the consensus process on a monthly basis between customer forecasts gathered by sales and other internal and external inputs/indicators.
oDocument and challenge forecast assumptions based on the analysis of process inputs into forecast models and monthly updates.
oMeasure and report forecast accuracy at customer, channel and product levels.
oIdentify forecast accuracy root causes and refine model/process to ensure continuous improvement of the overall process.
oParticipate in new products, international and annual planning forecasting process.
oAssist with completing initial forecast input into purchasing model.
Data Management:
oResponsible for system data entry of new item, sample items, item changes, discontinued products, pricing, etc.
oResponsible for system data integrity including the item and vendor master. Audit and maintain data in a timely manner.
oPrepare standard reports as requested; such as, New Item Report, Out of Stock report, MRP, etc.
oParticipate as a key member of system implementation project teams (ERP migration, data warehouse implementation, etc.)
Operations Coordination:
oCoordinate packaging changes across functions internally and externally with operations vendors.
oWork closely with vendors to coordinate and communicate product demand forecasts and coordinate shipment requirements. Maintain positive communications with vendors for all inventory changes, etc.
oAssist accounting with inventory adjustments and transfer as needed
oAssist with inventory planning responsibilities and vacation coverage
